Berry Delight Smoothie


Spring is the perfect time of year to start having beautiful colourful smoothies for breakfast! Forget boring old toast and start your day with nutrient dense super foods! 

The best thing of all is that it’s quick and easy, but it will provide you with long lasting energy – so you can get through your morning with no trouble.

I’ve been playing around with different types of smoothies for a few years now, and this wee beauty is up there on my top 5. It is sweet but fresh, light but filling and its vibrate colours are beautiful!

Having a healthy start to the day has never been so easy! All you really need to do is chuck it all in the blender and go!

What you need

  • 1 banana -frozen will make it thicker and colder but fresh is fine!
  • 2 Tablespoons of Greek honey infused yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of mixed berries
  • A handful of cashews
  • Unsweetened almond milk

Makes one smoothie, double the recipe for two.

How to

Throw all your ingredients into a powerful blender and blend! Pour and go!

Note: the less almond milk you use the thicker it will be.
